We’re seeking a Field Service Technician to join our Melbourne-based team, servicing and maintaining complex medical equipment used in infection control across hospitals, day surgeries, pharmaceutical, and life science facilities.

This is a rare opportunity to transition into the healthcare industry with full training provided.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform safety and performance checks, preventative maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of Infection control equipment, including Autoclaves and Washer Disinfectors
• Maintain equipment at key pharmaceutical and life science sites Primarily west of Melbourne, covering Geelong, Ballarat and surrounding regional Victoria.
• Liaise with customers at various sites across Victoria
• Provide phone support to schedulers and customers
• Support major projects including equipment installations, commissioning, and validation
• Some statewide travel and occasional overnight stays.

What You’ll Bring

• Restricted Electrical Licence (Disconnect/Reconnect) or ability to obtain
• Strong technical aptitude and a solution-focused mindset
• Experience with mechanics, electronics, motors, pneumatics, steam or pressure valves
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team
• A proactive attitude and commitment to “owning the outcome”
