Position Summary: This role involves on-site installation, preventive maintenance, repair, and calibration of turbomachinery systems and equipment. The Field Specialist will lead and execute foundation and equipment adjustments, assembly, inspection, and alignment tasks. The position also demands business relationship management, balancing customer service with company objectives, promoting safety, quality, and cost efficiency, as well as supporting emergent customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead foundation and soft foot checks and adjustments.
- Lead equipment assembly, installation, and alignment.
- Conduct independent equipment inspections.
- Own business operations in assigned areas and maintain customer relations.
- Provide leadership balancing customer satisfaction and organizational goals.
- Drive safety, productivity, delivery, quality, and cost targets.
- Perform field engineering services as needed.
- Support emergency and emergent customer requirements.
- Create a motivating work environment for BH and customer employees.
- Manage lessons learned processes and support root cause analysis on equipment failures.
Qualifications:
- Engineering or technical degree.
- Active CREA or CFT certification.
- Minimum 5 years experience with TMS equipment.
- Minimum 2 years experience with Baker Hughes equipment covering operation, commissioning, and startup.
- Strong knowledge of compressors, MKVIe or RX3i or Woodward Control panels, Nuovo Pignone or Thermodyn CECO, and LM2500 turbines.
- Field Engineering experience with project management skills.
- Fluent in Portuguese and at least intermediate English.
