Finance Intern

What you'll do:

Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our team within a manufacturing environment. This internship is designed to provide both educational and hands-on experience in key financial functions, including Field Accounting, Operations, and Budget Management. The intern will gain practical exposure by applying academic knowledge in a professional setting while supporting real-world financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Support budget review and analysis processes

Assist with monthly "flash" reporting review and variance analysis

Help track and monitor operational expenses and financial performance

Assist with field accounting activities, including data collection and reconciliation

Support preparation of financial reports and presentations

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial information

Perform basic data entry, analysis, and documentation tasks

Participate in process improvement initiatives within the finance function

Qualifications:

Basic (Required) Qualifications:

Actively enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Finance or Accounting

Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above (please don't round)

Relocation is not provided for this role. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the El Paso, TX site.

Must be available to work at least 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday

Must be able to commit to a 6-month internship duration

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior internship, co-op, or campus leadership experience in finance, accounting, supply chain, or operations

Experience with data analysis and reporting (e.g., PivotTables, charts, basic Power Query, or similar tools)

Familiarity with ERP or finance systems (e.g., SAP) and/or accounts payable, budgeting, or inventory finance concepts
