Financial Associate

This role is designed to be onsite with expectations of primarily working from an HPE office.

Job Description:

Within the Finance and Corporate Strategy team, this role supports the operational and strategic focus of the business's capital strategies to secure the greatest return on investment globally. Responsibilities include gathering and analyzing financial data to influence business decisions, drive initiatives, and ensure alignment with company objectives.

Job Family Definition:

Partners with businesses to operationally support capital strategies for maximum ROI, performs financial analysis and reporting (profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow, pricing), drives forecasting processes, ensures compliance with GAAP and financial policies, and maintains strong business controls.

Management Level Definition:

Requires extensive knowledge and technical skills to complete complex assignments independently, often without established procedures, and may guide other employees.

Responsibilities:

• Execute accounting processes within area of expertise.
• Analyze transactional accounting information to support decision making.
• Serve as first escalation for customer issues related to expertise.
• Support implementation of new corporate-wide accounting processes and systems.
• Identify opportunities for improvements and make recommendations.
• Implement and ensure effective business controls.
• Assist in training and mentoring department team members.
• Support development and maintenance of compliance procedures.

Education and Experience Required:

• Associate degree strongly preferred.
• 4+ years work experience.
• 1+ years experience in accounting environment.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong computation and business application skills (Microsoft Office, SAP).
• Fluency in English.
• Understanding of accounting processes and strong database skills.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
