Financial Controller

Are you ready to shape the future of capital markets? We are looking for a Financial Controller to join the Finance team. The position will be based in Oslo, and start as soon as possible. You will report to the Chief Accountant.

You will primarily be responsible for:

• Acting as finance responsible in European market coupling projects
• Contributing to the financial reporting process
• Supporting financial analysis, budgeting and project controlling
• Following up on business agreements from a finance perspective
• Performing controlling and reconciliation within accounting
• Contributing to operational efficiency and improvement of ERP processes and deliveries
• Preparing ad hoc analysis and tasks for management and the organisation
  

Your profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics or similar (relevant experience can compensate for lack of formal education)
• Recent graduates will also be considered
• Relevant experience from controlling, financial reporting or financial auditing is an advantage
• Highly skilled Excel user with advanced knowledge of financial systems
• Analytical and structured, with strong financial understanding
• Ability to understand and analyse complex assignments
• Able to balance high accuracy with tight deadlines
• Proactive, eager to learn and develop
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent English skills, both oral and written
