SUMMARY: The Floor Supervisor assists and supports the Store and Assistant Manager in all store operations including personnel, product, merchandising, visual functions, business processes and results. They help with recruiting, training and developing associates.
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and motivate store team to deliver excellent customer service, generate sales, minimize losses, and maintain store appearance.
- Maximize associate productivity and ensure compliance with company standards and policies.
- Coach, train and develop associates through feedback and support.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and time management.
MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maximize sales through execution of customer service programs and merchandising.
- Support training and development initiatives.
- Communicate results and business needs clearly with the team.
- Assist with inventory and replenishment processes.
- Analyze problems and implement solutions.
- Represent the brand professionally and maintain store standards.
OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow company policies and procedures.
- Manage shipments and inventory controls to reduce shrinkage.
- Ensure store has necessary tools and maintains safety and security.
- Perform store opening and closing duties.
- Physical ability to lift 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.
LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in recruiting and onboarding best talent aligned with brand values.
- Develop associates’ product knowledge and sales skills.
- Encourage team morale and recognize accomplishments.
- Attend management meetings and adapt scheduling as needed.
- Lead by example fostering teamwork in the store.
MERCHANDISING & VISUAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain store presentation and merchandising standards.
- Execute markdowns and re-merchandising as required.
- Manage store organization and cleanliness.
Pay Range: $18.13 - $22.13 per hour
