
The Opportunity:
This positionwill play a key role in delivering secure, modern, andmission criticalsoftware capabilities. This role supports Agile/Scrum teams embedded alongsidepartnerorganizationswithinclassified development environments. The engineer will contribute across the full software lifecycle—from requirements refinement and design through development, deployment, testing, and sustainment—in highly regulated andperformance criticalgovernment environments.
Responsibilities:
Supportmission criticalsystem deployments in restricted,ai rgapped, and classified environments.
Develop scalable, modern software applications using technologies such as React, Angular, TypeScript, Java (Spring Boot/Quarkus), and microservice architectures.
Support the creation and integration of containerized services using DockerDesktop, Kubernetes, andArgoCD.
Deep understanding of REST APIs, messaging layers, andreal-timefeatures (WebSockets,event-drivenprocessing).
Participate fully in Agile development activities: dailystandups, sprint planning, demos, retrospectives, design reviews, and peer code reviews.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated build/deployment processes using GitLab,Jenkinsor similar systems.
Operate within AWS, OpenStack, and hybridon-prem“cloudlike” government environments.
Collaborate with DevOps, UX, andfull-stackteammates to ensure reliable, secure, and performant software delivery.
Assistin troubleshooting distributed systems,identifyingroot causes, and implementing sustainable fixesand supporting the entire software lifecycle.
Qualifications:
Required:
Active TS/SCI security clearance
3+ years of related software engineering experience.
Hands-on experience with frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue) and modern JavaScript/TypeScript patterns.
Experience developing distributed microservices using Java frameworks such as Spring Boot orQuarkus.
Understanding of containerization, orchestration (Kubernetes), and infrastructure automation concepts.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines,Git basedworkflows, and automated testing.
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS oron-premiseequivalents).
Experience working in Agile orSAFe alignedteams.
Ability tooperateeffectively within secure, controlled, and collaborative engineering environments.
Exposure toArgoCDWorkflows orevent drivenmicroservice architecture
Experience working inair gappedor multinetwork deployment environments
Desired:
Adjudicated Polygraph
Python scripting for automation, tooling, or data workflows
Experience with ELKstack(Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)
Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki,Open Telemetry
Knowledge ofmission planning, visualization, orground segmentsoftware systems
Understanding ofcloudnativesecurity controls andDevSecOpsprinciples
Prior experience supporting government ornational securitysoftware programs

The proposed salary range for this position is:
