THE JOB:
As a Fountain Worker at District Donuts in The Cosmopolitan, you play a vital role in bringing the guest experience to life from the very first moment. With your warm, welcoming smile and attentive service, you set the tone for an unforgettable visit. By connecting with guests, understanding their unique stories, and anticipating their needs, you take full ownership of their experience—turning everyday interactions into meaningful moments. Your passion for hospitality transforms each visit into a “WOW” memory that guests will carry with them long after their stay.
THE STARTING RATE: $17.24 Hourly
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Take and place order and serve and garnish food and drinks efficiently and accurately in work area as applicable.
Collect money, while following all proper cash handling and comp procedures.
Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and the appearance of the front and back of house, clear tables and counters; sweep and maintain the cleanliness of the dining area without interfering with the comfort of guests.
Pack and complete order as per guests' preference with any necessary condiments.
Properly label and date products per safety and sanitation procedures.
Perform opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment.
Unload warehouse orders and stock the orders to designated storage maintaining organization, stock and replenish products as needed in workstation, counters, tables, etc.
Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise, refer the matter to management, notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft.
Perform other job-related duties as requested.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
High School Diploma or GED Required.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays Required.
One (1) year of experience as a food handler in a similar, high-volume, fast paced restaurant Preferred.
