"Rakuten Bic" is the first-party entity in the home appliance category of the Rakuten Group, established as a joint venture through the collaboration between Rakuten Group, Inc. and BICCAMERA INC.. It operates as a comprehensive home appliance service on Rakuten Ichiba, aiming to provide a highly convenient shopping experience that transcends the boundaries between online and offline by leveraging the strengths of both companies.

Position Details
This position involves understanding the requirements and challenges of Rakuten Bic's business and development, defining requirements, formulating specifications, and leading the implementation and development of HTML/CSS/JavaScript for building and improving services and products. You will also be responsible for designing UX and UI improvements. In the future, you can aim for a Product Manager position.
Key responsibilities include:
- Defining development specifications and implementing front-end UI
- Conducting QA and implementation testing
- Designing reusable components with scalability in mind and creating style guides
- Proposing and implementing interactions to enhance the purchasing experience and improve service operation efficiency
Work Environment
The department consists of 10 members, with a team structure of 4 in business and 6 in creative roles, comprising 8 men and 2 women.
The team consists mostly of mid-career hires who leverage their previous experience and skills to develop and improve in-house services, aiming to provide customers with more convenient services.

After joining, you will be seconded to Rakuten Bic, Inc. Even after the secondment, benefits and welfare will remain mostly the same as those of Rakuten Group, Inc., with some minor differences.

TOEIC Score exceeding 800 (or similar level of English ability or a University Degree earned in an English-speaking country)
Proof of eligibility is required by the timing of the offer letter.
