As part of Institutional Banking, theFund Accountingteam supports the company by ensuring client’s net asset values are accurate and timely. These are processed daily and needed for shareholdersas itallows them to buy in or sell out of funds they are invested in.
As a Fund Accountant, you willcalculatethenet asset value daily. Opportunities for growthwithinthepositionarebased on associate performance and time withinthedepartment.Seasoned associates will be responsible formorecomplex mutual funds with larger variety of investment types.Associates can expect to manage5-7 funds dailywhile moving toward a Sr Fund Accountant.
The teamworkshardbut, in a fun, relaxed environment where the dress code is casual.Associates will complete tasks individually but still have ateamaround them to offer support when needed.An inclusive environment where senior leaders go out of their way to meet new associates.
How you’ll spend your time:
Use your analytical skillset toreconcile cashin order tobalance fundsdaily.
Use yourdetail-orientationto process shareholder activity and security trades within investmentsto ensure compliance.
Prioritize a variety of tasks such asrunningnecessary accrualsandprocessingany corporate actions.

$56,890.00 - $109,270.00The posted compensation range on this listing represents UMB’s standard for this role, but the actual compensation may vary by geographic location, experience level, and other job-related factors.
