The General Support Administrative Officer provides comprehensive support expertise to customers across the organization, managing moderately complex to complex specialized customer requirements. Responsibilities include serving as the primary point of contact for customer requests, developing relationships with Federal and contractor communities, guiding customers on support functions, resolving complex issues, prioritizing transactions, applying critical thinking for process improvements, managing office documentation, and ensuring compliance with policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Support Management: Primary contact for specialized customer requests, maintain relationships, provide guidance, resolve issues, manage transactions in compliance with regulations.
- Process Improvement & Quality Assurance: Apply critical thinking to non-routine cases, analyze data for efficiency and quality improvements, facilitate training, recommend process changes.
- Office Management & Documentation: Manage forms and memos processing, ensure compliance, organize electronic and physical files, draft and edit documents professionally.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 7 years administrative experience, preferably federal sector.
- High school diploma required; higher education can substitute experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Sponsor-specific processes.
- Strong organizational, communication, multitasking skills, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Physical capability to handle items up to 50 pounds.
