AsourCommunications Intern,you’lljointheGlobal Communications teamandsupporthowweinform,engage,andinspirecolleaguesacrossBDRThermea.
You’llgainhands-on experience ininternalandexternalcommunications,workingon content,campaigns,andstorytellingthatstrengthenourculture,buildourreputation,andsupportourstrategicpriorities.
Thisis ahybridrolebasedin Apeldoorn. Weencourageyoutospendatleasttwodaysper week intheoffice.
The internship start date is flexible, ideally around September 2026.
Dependingonyourinterestsandstrengths,youwillcontributeto:
Contentcreation: Writeandeditarticles,newsupdates,andleadershipmessagesforinternalandexternalchannels
Storytelling: Help turn complex topicsintoclear,engagingstoriesthatresonatewithdifferentaudiences
Internalcommunications: Supportcampaignsthatengageemployeesandbringourstrategyandculturetolife
Digitalchannels: Help manageandoptimisechannelssuchas intranet,internetandsocialmedia
Campaignsupport: Assist in planningandexecutingglobalcommunicationinitiativesandevents
Analytics &insights: Track performanceandengagementmetricstocontinuouslyimprovecommunicationimpact
YouarecurrentlypursuingaBachelor’sorMaster’sdegreeinCommunicationsor arelatedfield at auniversityintheNetherlands (WO or HBO-level).
Youhave a strong interest in corporatecommunicationsandstorytelling
Youareproactive,curious,andeagertolearn
Youhave strongwritingandediting skills
You have a keen eye for detail, a critical mindset, and anorganisedapproach
You are comfortable working in English in an international environment
Nice-to-have:
Experiencewithdigital tools (SharePoint,Canva, etc.)
Knowledge of Dutch is a plus, butnota must.
Afull-timeinternship(40hrsper week)for4to6months, ideally starting in September 2026
Monthlyinternshipallowanceof €500-550 (basedon 40hoursper week)
