
TheGlobalFinancial Controlleris responsible foroverseeing financialoperationsof the Bath & Wellness division, especiallyfinancial planningof our legal entities, budgeting, forecasting, andmonthlyreporting– includingaglobal coordination of the financial controller network.Therole ensures robust financial performance management,supportsannual updates oftransfer pricing/ intercompany-provisions and impairment calculationstogether with group reporting and tax departments, and ensures compliance with Villeroy & Boch's accounting policies and relevant IFRS standards,and isalsoindirect contact with external auditors.
Besides globalfinancial aspects, the role includes adirectfinancialresponsibilityacross the relevant entities within the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).
KeyResponsibilities:
Globalfinancialcontrolling:
Coordinate thelegal entity planningof theBath & Wellness division (V&B and Ideal Standard) includingintercompany relations andmid-term-planning.
Performscalculation oftransferpricesandintercompany-provisionstogether with thelocalfinancialcontrollingteam and central tax department.
Establishment ofdocumentationsfor year-end closingand hard-closeto auditorsand prepare Balance Sheet reviews, includesimpairment testsforcarrying amounts ofour shareholdingvalues.
Establish and develop Financial Controlling team for B&Wworkingcentrally andlocally within the clusters.
Ensurescorrectness of ourinternal and externalreporting:ensuresdata integrity and consistency across thefinancialsystems.
Project tasks: supports S/4 HANA implementationand integration tasksof Ideal Standard.
Collaborates with different central, localand division functionsto ensure financial targets aremetand operational efficiencies are achieved.
Conductsad-hoc financial analysisandsupportsspecial projects.
Financial Controlling DACH:
Performsand coordinatesbudgeting and forecasting processesacross the relevantlegalentities within the DACH region.
Support theriskmanagementprocesstoidentifyand assess financial risks.
Contribute to the monthly, quarterly, and annualfinancial closing processes,andensuringtimelyandaccuratereportingfor the DACH entities.
Cost control and analysis:Monitor, analyze, and report on key financial performance indicators (KPIs),identifyingareas for cost optimization and efficiencyimprovementsand provide proactive recommendations tooptimizefinancial results.
Conductad-hoc financial analysisandsupport special projects.
Monitor and manage the cash flowfor the DACH entities,including forecasting,and planning processes.
Education:
Bachelor's orMaster's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, ora relatedfield. Professional accountingqualificationcould bea strong plus.
Experience:
3-5 Yearsexperience in financial controlling, audit, or accounting roles
Skills:
Experience with SAP (FI/CO modules),experience with S/4 HANA could be a plus.
Advanced Excel andPowerpointskills
Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
