Global Finance Services (GFS) is at the heart of the Finance function - accountable to the AstraZeneca (AZ) Group for the design and delivery of high quality, simple to operate transactional finance processes that enable our customers to focus on AZ’s strategic priorities.
Our Purchase to Pay (P2P) team within GFS is responsible handles the end-to-end acquiring goods and services ensuring that the associated payments made to our suppliers, this includes overseeing the procurement process management, invoice processing, payment processing, suppliers’ relationship management, reimbursing expenses to employees, and Travel & Expense (T&E) transactional activities.
The role holder reports to the Global T&E Audit Manager and is accountable for:
Lead a high-performance audit team to deliver rapid, accurate, and compliant processing, driving efficiency through clear accountability, automation, and disciplined execution.
Operate and continuously optimizethe risk-based audit tool,Oversight to proactively detect policy breaches, accuracy issues, and high-risk transactions, ensuring timely and targeted follow-ups.
Own and accelerate resolution of audit issues and escalations, enforcing strong governance while minimizing turnaround time and operational disruption.
Continuously refine audit parameters and thresholds to enhance exception detection accuracy, reduce false positives, and maximize audit productivity and system efficiency.
Drive strict adherence to processing SLAs and compliance standards, ensuring all exceptions are investigated, resolved, and documented with sound judgment and audit defensibility.
