As aHR Business Partner at BD, you'll work closely with leaders across Australia and New Zealand to support people decisions that directly impact performance, capability and engagement. This role sits at the intersection of people strategy and day-to-day delivery, within a fast-moving, sales-led environment.
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, ideal for an experienced HR Advisor or early-stage HR Business Partner who enjoys working close to the business, using data to inform decisions and coaching leaders to think beyond immediate outcomes.
You'll partner with a wide range of stakeholder groups across both in-field and corporate teams, working closely with leaders to navigate complex people decisions across a diverse ANZ business.
Your Day-to-Day
You will combine hands-on HR delivery with genuine business partnering.
You will:
- Partner with senior leaders to understand business priorities and translate them into practical HR plans and actions
- Provide HR advice across employee relations, performance management, compensation, talent development and change management
- Coach and support managers to strengthen leadership capability, team effectiveness and engagement
- Analyse workforce and HR data to identify trends, inform decision-making and measure effectiveness of HR initiatives
- Support organisational design, workforce planning and change initiatives
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to support recruitment and retention of key roles
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations matters, including investigations where required
- Drive implementation of HR policies, processes and best practices, ensuring compliance with ANZ employment legislation
- Champion BD's culture and values, promoting inclusive and engaging workplace practices
- Partner with regional and global HR teams to ensure consistency and alignment
