- Title: HVAC Technician
- Location: Dayton, OH
- 3K SIGN ON BONUS
- Salary: Up to $38.00 per hour, depending on experience
- Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00AM - 3:30PM

What Will I Be Doing?
- Work in a team-oriented and safety conscious environment following safety first expectations and company/site guidelines.
- Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
- Work without supervision, capable of directing other team members based on assigned tasks.
- Installation, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
- Use hand/power tools, HVAC & refrigeration tools, rigging, and apply preventive/predictive maintenance procedures.
- Perform tasks on elevated areas using fall protection equipment.
- Flexible to work all shifts including holidays and weekends as needed.
- Comply with all company/customer regulations and policies.
- Meet or exceed performance expectations and participate in employee development planning.
- Maintain personal tools with up-to-date documentation.
- Complete administrative duties including time accounting and work order completion.
What Makes Me Qualified?
- 5+ years' experience in industrial HVAC/refrigeration maintenance and repairs.
- EPA Certificate - Universal Technician.
Physical Demands of the Role:
- Close range observation of details.
- Control precision for machine or vehicle controls.
- Manual dexterity to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
- Substantial lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to move continuously for extended periods.
- Ability to ascend and descend staircases, ladders, and step stools.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, equipment, and forklifts safely.
- Wear a respirator while performing job duties.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to order information according to rules or patterns.
Work Environment:
Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, high and precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock and vibration. Occasionally exposed to extreme heat, cold, wet and/or humid conditions with usually very loud noise levels.
