The Transmission, Distribution & Renewables group specializes in the efficient and economical delivery of power transmission and distribution projects from conceptualization through engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
Your role within the team:
- Establish design criteria related to the assigned area, based on contract requirements and good engineering practices.
- Design structural works including buildings, structures, and foundations.
- Prepare, check, approve, and archive engineering calculations according to quality system procedures.
- Draft technical specifications and supervise preparation of drawings.
- Prepare proposals, feasibility studies, conceptual designs, engineering estimates, and schedules.
- Collaborate across project phases from conceptual design to close-out.
- Perform conceptual and peer reviews of designs, drawings, and reports.

The ideal candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years experience in computerized design of civil structural infrastructure.
- Registered engineer in Quebec, Ontario or British Columbia.
- Experience with power transmission, renewable energy plants, and heavy industrial facilities.
- In-depth design experience per Canadian and US codes, including foundations for heavy rotating equipment.
- Proficient in STAAD.Pro, DYNA6.1, PCA software, and MS Office.
- Knowledge of Catia or Revit is an asset.
- Fluent in English; French is an asset.
