At UFP Site Built, we specialize in value-added building solutions, including wood structural components, aluminum decks and rails, and light gauge steel systems. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Inside Sales Coordinator to support our customers and sales team. This role involves building strong customer relationships, coordinating order scheduling, ensuring accurate data entry for quotes and orders, supporting account managers, collaborating across departments, communicating updates to customers, participating in product training, and contributing to team success.
Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with customers through regular communication via phone and email.
- Coordinate order scheduling and resolve issues such as back orders or delivery delays.
- Ensure accuracy in data entry for quotes and orders based on take-off specifications.
- Support account managers by helping fulfill customer requests and troubleshoot problems.
- Collaborate with sales, shipping, and product management departments.
- Communicate updates to customers through bulletins, brochures, and program information.
- Participate in product training and attend trade shows or product launches as needed.
- Contribute to meeting individual and team goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in sales or construction-related environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with business software is a plus.
