Position Overview

GWMS is a vertically integrated sales channel within Apollo’s broader Client & Product Solutions (CPS) ecosystem, designed to provide individuals and their advisors with a growing range of wealth management solutions beyond the public markets. The Internal Sales Professional will work closely with external sales partners to drive marketing and fundraising outcomes within their assigned region/territory.
Role encompasses a spectrum of responsibilities including:
- Supports field sales professionals in assigned regions/territories throughout the fundraising and prospecting process.
- Develops a strong knowledge of the private wealth landscape and client/prospect base within assigned regions/territories.
- Uses Salesforce to obtain meeting details and organize relevant information, including company research, relevant news, portfolio information, and competitive analysis. Prepares ad hoc reports as needed for Regional Leadership and individual members of the sales team.
- Contributes to regional fundraising goals by managing, enhancing, and developing new client relationships.
- Sends detailed meeting follow-up emails, including relevant customized data and research, to clients and prospects.
- Assists in the coordination and organization of group events.
- Delivers actionable and timely investment insights via phone, Zoom, and email.
- Assists in tiering organizations based on level of interest and priority.
- Supports updates to relevant opportunities in CRM to ensure the sales pipeline remains accurate.
- Helps investment research teams understand the role Apollo's suite of wealth management products plays in overall portfolios.
- Leads meetings with advisors with support from CPMs and senior sales professionals. Over time, demonstrates the ability to help drive the sales process from sourcing through closing.
- Builds close partnerships with key cross-functional teams (e.g., CPMs, Marketing, COO) to drive the business forward.
- Stays up to date on the performance and positioning of Apollo strategies and succinctly delivers these updates to investment research teams.
- Facilitates informational requests from clients, prospects, and consultants, and identifies sensitivities and potential issues.
- Demonstrates respect for the role and team opportunity; displays exceptional professionalism, conduct, and work ethic. Consistently goes above and beyond and works outside of their core responsibilities when needed.

Pay Range
$120k- $160k

The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here.
