🛠️ What will you do?
In RGE-TM department we focus on customer performance, numerical simulations, and testing with a range of complex and exciting missions Our teams shape the future of automotive engineering by meticulously tracking the future vehicles throughout the design, testing, and validation phases.
We dive into the virtual realm with cutting edge numerical simulations and virtual reality testing before moving on to real world prototype testing on test benches and tracks. Our engineers also play a vital role in managing and testing all vehicle materials, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. Beyond that, we are involved in essential tasks such as technical documentation, regulatory compliance, and vehicle homologation for Renault Group products worldwide.
The internship is based in the Materials Engineering laboratory of the Titu Technical Center, contributing to automotive polymer testing and vehicle validation activities.
Responsabilities:
Digitalize Polymer Testing Equipment Organization: Collect, structure, and digitalize data related to equipment used for polymer material testing (identification, serial numbers, status, location).
Ensure Traceability for Polymeric Material Tests: Develop clear links between testing equipment, applied polymer test methods, planned tests, and validation activities.
Monitor Equipment Readiness for Material Testing: Support tracking of maintenance and calibration schedules to ensure equipment suitability for polymer testing activities.
Support Polymeric Materials Validation Activities: Provide visibility on equipment availability and test status in support of polymer material characterization, ageing, and durability assessments.
Develop Overview Dashboards: Contribute to digital dashboards or structured views offering a consolidated overview of polymer testing equipment status and upcoming actions.

🎯 The profile we are looking for:
Mandatory
Engineering or technical profile (materials, mechanical, chemical, automotive, industrial, or similar)
Good knowledge of MS Office tools (Excel mandatory)
Analytical mindset, with synthesis and reporting abilities
Communication skills and adaptability to a technical environment
Foreign languages: English or French
Nice to Have
Interest in polymeric materials and automotive applications
Basic knowledge of material testing or laboratory equipment
Interest in digital tools, databases, or dashboards
Familiarity with automotive engineering or testing processes
