
Job Title: IP Design Architect

In this role, you'll collaborate with a talented team to define and develop graphics, display controller, and/or RISC-V IP architectures and designs for next-generation products.
Leverage your expertise to drive innovation, overcome technical challenges, and help shape the future of our technology.
Job Responsibility:
Drive graphics, display, and/or RISC-V IP ideas from definition through modeling and architecture, to design and implementations, with participation in all stages.
Implement and evaluate architectures with modeling to identify choke points, tradeoffs, and to guide design efforts.
Alignment with standards bodies to ensure NXP’s technology is top of class.
Collaborate with other subject matter experts at NXP to develop key technologies to differentiate.
Facilitate design development efforts, performance estimation, and performance analysis through methodology and hands-on contributions.
Influence and collaborate with teammates on related projects, potentially including DSP and RISC-V CPU development, or related IP.
Job Qualification:
Bachelor’s required; Master’s preferred in EE, Computer Engineering
5+ years of experience in architecture, modeling, design
Very strong problem solving skills required
Strong in C, Verilog, Python (or similar), Digital Design
Solid understanding of C++, scripting, RTL, performance evaluation
Background in Graphics and Display Controller concepts
Background in RISC-V
Experience with Graphics, Display Controller, RISC-V IP development
Strong communication skills
