
The Litigation Support Team at Leidos currently supporting the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) in Washington, DC has an opening for a Law Clerk to perform litigation support duties via said role. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the U.S. Department of Justice achieve their mission.
Typical assignments may include but not limited to:
Works under the direction of a Project Supervisor or Project Manager.
Performs complex legal research for the trial staff.
Assists in preparing draft legal documents, such as motions, briefs, memoranda of law, etc.
Assists in drafting of Programs decisions. In many claims, the Programs decision sets the foundation for subsequent administrative and judicial review.
Reviewing documents for relevance and privilege.
Ability to conduct research in applicable statutory, regulatory, and case law.
Demonstrated ability to discern the relevant issues in complex fact patterns.
Assisting attorneys with all phases of litigation.
This position is covered under the Service Contract Act. The pay for this position will be $38.77/hr.
