Life Insurance Specialist - Illinois

The Auto Club Group is seeking a Field Life Agent who will customarily and regularly be engaged in outside sales activities away from their assigned AAA branch. You will be challenged to drive new business with competitive products and help retain The Auto Club Groups 14+ million members.

Responsibilities include soliciting and selling Life & Health insurance and Annuity products primarily within ACG branch locations, developing leads and prospects through various marketing activities, preparing proposals and closing sales, completing applications and forms, working collaboratively in branches to maximize sales opportunities, assisting underwriting and brokerage departments, responding to customer inquiries, preparing activity reports, maintaining production standards, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

The role involves serving members with high priority on satisfaction, sustaining an ethical work environment, offering best-in-class products and services, and working collaboratively to achieve business goals.

Qualifications include possession of valid State Life Sales licenses, ability to pass LUTC or CLU coursework, maintaining Life and Health licenses, valid driver's license, and meeting state requirements for selling and servicing Auto Club Group Membership products.

Minimum of 2 years experience with a proven record of successfully soliciting and selling life insurance products. Strong knowledge of Life Insurance and Annuity products and services, effective communication skills, ability to analyze customer needs and promote positive experiences, prospecting skills, organization, planning, time management, and independent work capability are essential.

Work environment includes a temperature-controlled office with limited travel for community events.

Compensation includes an annual base pay of $31,000 (non-exempt, eligible for overtime), unlimited income potential with average earnings $75,000 - $100,000 (base plus commissions), a $5,000 sign-on bonus (paid in two installments), unlimited leads at no cost, elevated tiered commissions for the first 12 months, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k match, paid parental leave, PTO, tuition assistance, AAA membership, discounts and more.
