Self Financial is a venture-backed, high-growth FinTech company committed to increasing economic inclusion and financial resilience by empowering individuals to build credit and savings. The Lifecycle Marketing Manager will architect and execute all payment and account lifecycle communications, including payment reminders, delinquency recovery, credit account lifecycle communications, and support for product launches. This high-visibility, hands-on role requires collaboration across Product Marketing, Analytics, Product, and Operations teams, owning end-to-end campaign design, execution, and optimization in Braze and other channels.
Responsibilities
- Design messaging frameworks for product lifecycles, including onboarding, payment cadence, delinquency recovery, credit line growth, utilization monitoring, and re-engagement.
- Build quarterly campaign roadmaps tied to key metrics such as open rates, CTR, payment-rate lift, and credit utilization improvements.
- Configure and launch email, push, SMS, and in-app journeys in Braze with precise segmentation, timing, and personalization.
- Develop multi-variant tests to optimize subject lines, creative, frequencies, and channel mixes.
- Monitor performance in real time and adjust tactics based on insights from BI dashboards.
- Partner with Analytics to define high-value segments and use dynamic content for behavior-driven messaging.
- Collaborate with Product Marketing, Growth, Paid teams, Compliance, and Operations to ensure cohesive strategies and regulatory adherence.
- Maintain documentation such as a Test Library and present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of lifecycle marketing experience in finance or fintech, including payment communications strategy.
- Strong proficiency with Braze or similar platforms like Iterable, Customer.io, or Blueshift.
- Deep understanding of email, push, SMS, and in-app best practices.
- Data-driven mindset with experience in SQL or BI tools for analyses and A/B testing.
- Experience optimizing payment lifecycle flows and credit messaging.
- Strong project management and communication skills.
- Self-starter with ability to own roadmap and drive initiatives to completion.
