CACI is currently looking for a motivated, career and customer-oriented junior level Logistician with Agile methodology experience to join our Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Land Border Integration (LBI) Integrated Traveler Initiative ITI2.1 team in Northern Virginia. This role supports Agile Software Development and hardware integration for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The Logistician will assist in Integrated Logistics Support efforts and service operations, supporting senior team members in developing technical logistics products and participating in various logistics operations aspects.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining and updating maintenance concepts and requirements.
- Support management of repair parts, spares, and consumables inventory.
- Help gather system technical data.
- Participate in training programs for CBP and civilian personnel.
- Assist in packaging, handling, storage, and transportation tasks.
- Support customer service operations for field technicians and logistics partners.
- Help monitor the flow of goods and materials.
- Assist in gathering data for metrics and reports.
- Participate in research and data collection for project needs.
- Support drafting of technical papers under guidance.
- Assist in monitoring cost and schedule of projects.
- Help respond to customer inquiries.
- Support verification of product technical quality.
- Assist in development of integrated logistics plans and related documents.
Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to pass CBP background investigation.
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field with 3 years logistics experience.
- Basic understanding of logistics and supply chain concepts.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Willingness to learn and grow in logistics field.
- Availability to work hybrid schedule with on-site requirement in Sterling, VA.
Bonus Skills:
- Exposure to government logistics operations.
- Understanding of equipment lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with Level of Repair Analysis, Maintenance Expenditure Limits, Personnel Requirements Information, Basis of Issue Plan Feeder Data, Lifecycle Sustainment Planning.
