The task of LVSA Production Scheduler is to ensure a smooth and economical production process within given and agreed production capacities in a sequence which reflects customer project timeline.
What you'll do:
The task of LVSA Production Scheduler is to ensure a smooth and economical production process within given and agreed production capacities in a sequence which reflects customer project timeline.
- Creation of work orders for LVSA assembly considering project size and Bill Of Materials, customer requested delivery dates, availability of material, available capacity on the shop floor and priority
- Consideration of capacity utilization, production lot sizes and availability of tools/equipment
- matching needed components to the right assembly step
-using semi-automated component loading process into SAP work order or manual entry
- tracking scheduled start/finish date versus actual start/finish date and material availability
- Optimization of SAP parameters with regard to parts availability
- Inventory optimization in line with LEAN principles
- Planning and confirmation of customer and stock transfer orders
- Coordination with other plants for delivery date changes for required components for LVSA assembly
- Participation in EBS, MESH, ZISC, ELSS and quality assurance activities
- Reduction of excess and obsolete inventory
