Position: Machine Operator & Assembler
Pay: Starting pay $20.37/hr with an increase after the first 3 months
Shift Differential:
- 2nd shift $1.15/hr
- 3rd shift $1.50/hr
Shifts: 2nd & 3rd
- 2nd shift Monday to Friday 2:00pm - 10:30pm
- 3rd shift Sunday night to Friday Morning 10pm to 6:30am
Training: First shift

Company Overview: A Winston-Salem, North Carolina battery assembly plant established in 1978 employing over 500 people and operating six days per week. The company is involved in community efforts such as food and toy drives.
Job Summary: Operate automated and semi-automated production machines to manufacture automotive batteries; make minor machine adjustments; participate in preventative maintenance; perform quality inspection and checks as trained.
Primary Duties:
- Operate machinery by controlling and adjusting settings and feeding materials
- Verify product quality and keep records
- Clean equipment and surrounding area
- Follow safety, quality, and production instructions
Qualifications:
- 1+ year experience in manufacturing
- Ability to work 12-hour days, stand/walk long periods, work in hot environment
- Physical ability to bend, twist, kneel
- Basic computer, math, reading and writing skills
- Available to work overtime and weekends
- Compliance with PPE requirements
