The responsibility of the Asset Protection Manager (APM) is to support their assigned stores' business plan and the direction of Corporate Asset Protection by providing leadership, expertise, and training to their assigned store for the reduction of inventory shortage and controllable losses. To be successful, the APM must consistently demonstrate leadership in managing and communicating AP efforts, supervising and developing staff, developing partnerships with various stakeholders, and implementing strategies for shortage reduction. The role involves auditing for compliance, identifying risk, leveraging support processes, educating on security protocols, leading safety and theft mitigation initiatives, investigating internal theft, and collaborating with law enforcement and other agencies. Qualifications include a bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of related experience. The role requires excellent communication, interpersonal, and physical skills, with a focus on security systems knowledge and decision-making abilities.
