Manager - Clinical Staff Development
Full-Time 8a - 4:30p
Hours May Vary
Responsible for the coordination of organizational development activities designed to meet educational and performance improvement needs of all staff in congruence with Baptist Health Hardin strategic plan and organizational goals.
Acts as a consultant, change agent, facilitator, liaison, and ambassador within Baptist Health Hardin.
Supervise and direct nurse educators, nursing orientation, residency, and competency.
Responsible and accountable for the daily operations of the nursing unit(s) / department(s) with 24-hour accountability.
Requirements:
Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution required.
Current unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kentucky required.
Minimum of one year of relevant professional experience required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree preferred.
Previous classroom teaching experience preferred.
Working knowledge of adult learning principles.
Strong skills in writing, group presentations, individual counseling, test development, program planning, and implementation.
ACLS and/or PALS provider status preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple activities within limited time frames.
Demonstrates transformational leadership skills.
