Manager, Regulatory Compliance and Business Management

What is the Opportunity

This role will be responsible for the ongoing management of Regulatory Compliance Management (RCM) Framework for the Asia Pacific region across business segments and their lines of business in region. This encompasses the coordination of the project management activities associated with the ongoing RCM project and the ongoing maintenance of the existing RCM programs in the RCM Tool to ensure that it remains current, accurate and consistent with approach taken in other jurisdictions. Further, this position will support the operational management of the APAC Compliance department including governance and reporting.

Working hours : 9.00AM -6.00PM

What will you do?

• To provide project management expertise to manage the ongoing coordination and implementation of the global RCM project.

• To ensure the APAC RCM remains current, accurate and consistent with approaches taken in other jurisdictions.

• To be responsible for working with First and Second Lines of Defense to identify the key risks, controls and monitoring to be undertaken, to address the risks presented by the requirements the different business lines are subject to.

• Provide ongoing support and assistance to the various Compliance Teams, (Compliance Oversight & Advice Teams, Regulatory Development Team, Monitoring & Testing, Central Compliance) and the 1LOD with the Control Standards and the Technology that relates to the 4 RCM pillars; Regulatory Content, Risk Assessments, Monitoring & Testing and Issues Management.

• Develop and maintain local procedures and approach documents with regards to the RCM framework and use of the RCM tool.

• Support the implementation and embedment of the Regulatory Content vendor into BAU activities.

• To provide relevant business manager support to APAC Compliance.

• Support the maintenance and updates to the Regulatory Content inventories for APAC, including the oversight and execution of change requests.

• Support the maintenance and submission of user access to key Compliance tools and sharepoints.

• Reviewing, analysing and mapping data and produce MI & support the production of Governance Committee materials.

• Support the development and enhancement of insightful reporting and metrics.

• To take up any ad hoc projects or tasks as assigned from time to time.

Must-have

• Strong data analytical skills and attention to detail

• Ability to multi-task to meet deadlines and work under pressure

• Effective communicator both verbally and in writing

• Ability and willingness to accept accountability and ownership,

  demonstrate initiative, work with limited direct supervision and

  support effective and efficient cross-unit co-operation

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products

Nice-to-have

• Ideally educated to at least first degree level with a relevant degree,

  hold a recognized relevant professional qualification.

• Experience working in Compliance
