Overview
This role is responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timely delivery of high-level management portfolios, regulatory submissions (BNM), and external disclosures. A core focus of this role is overseeing the end-to-end validation, reporting, and inter-departmental alignment of the MFRS 9 Expected Credit Loss (ECL) frameworks for both domestic loans/financings and overseas branches. This role will also champion process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency and maintain robust internal controls.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure quality, consistent and timely information submitted to Management (CAQ, MC, CSC, QSBM, Board paper, financial disclosure, industrial / portfolio analysis), BNM, rating agency, internal / external auditors and ad hoc reports.
Validating MFRS9 ECL provision for BCB Loans / Financings.
Enhancement in reporting preparation process and workflows.
Responsible for the MFRS9 matters from intra / inter-department and overseas branches.
Any other responsibilities as assigned by the management on the internal operation and control.
Keyholder Responsibilities
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Actuarial Science, or Risk Management.
Practical knowledge of MFRS 9 / IFRS 9
Strong data skills - proficiency in SQL, SAS, or advanced Excel
Sharp analytical thinking for portfolio and industrial trend analysis.
