As a Managing Technical Consultant, Fisheries Biologist (Fixed-Term) with ERM (full-time, one-year maternity coverage with potential to convert to regular full-time), you will play a pivotal role in delivering complex, multimillion-dollar projects that influence environmental outcomes at scale. Based in Whitehorse, Yellowknife, Calgary, Saskatoon, Vancouver, or Toronto, this role positions you at the forefront of ERM’s growing Biodiversity & Ecosystems practice, where your expertise will directly contribute to strategic client solutions and the advancement of sustainable development across industries.
You will be a key technical leader driving fisheries and aquatic programs that support some of the most significant mining and energy projects in Canada. Your work will help protect and restore aquatic ecosystems while shaping environmental strategy at both national and global levels. In this role, you will:
You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of aquatic scientists, hydrologists, wildlife biologists, toxicologists, and other experts to solve complex sustainability challenges.
For theManaging Technical Consultant, Fisheries Biologist position, theanticipatedannual base pay is$95,651–$119,999(CAD). Actual pay will depend on factors such as education, experience, skills, location, performance, and business needs. In some cases, pay may fall outside this range. This role may be eligible for bonus pay (casual and fixed term/flex force employees arenot bonuseligible).
