
1.0Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
1.1Responding to any emergency or potential emergency.
1.2Security diligence, including maintaining control of personal key cards, preventing unauthorized entry to the facility by non-Amcor employees, and proper maintenance / security of Amcor information and equipment within your direct responsibility.
1.3Constant vigilance and participation in Safety, Food Safety, Quality and Production practices.
1.4Prevent nonconforming products from being shipped to customers.
1.5Identify and record problems relating to products, processes and quality systems.
2.0Authority, including but not limited to:
2.1Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformity of product or quality systems.
2.2Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels.
2.3Suggest actions for continual improvement to products, processes, or systems and verify the implementation of solutions.
3.0Primary Duties, including but not limited to:
3.1Observe all Safety precautions, Food Safety requirements and Plant rules to prevent injury to self or others and to prevent loss of material or damage to equipment.
3.2Follow and wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
3.3Maintain good housekeeping and 5S.
3.4Transcribe product specification information onto shipping cartons.
3.5Weigh, tape, lift, and stack filled shipping cartons onto pallets (if required).
3.6Perform duties quickly to avoid production back up.
3.7Perform visual inspection of production and alert Shift Coordinator or QA of noticeable defects.
3.8Perform job duties associated with scrap parts produced.
3.9Completes daily report of parts produced, scrapped or placed on hold.
3.10Tend to machines such as Presses, Assembly, Auxiliary, Printing, and Lining equipment, which perform in production areas, according to machine standards.
3.11Perform routine housekeeping and maintenance task as assigned by Shift Coordinator.
4.0QUALIFICATIONS / Education Required:
4.1Capable of physical mobility including sitting, bending, twisting, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
4.2Maintain an attendance record within company guidelines and working required overtime.
4.3High school diploma or GED equivalency preferred.
4.4Read, write and speak English.
4.5Past experience / proven ability within the specified disciplines.
4.6Negative drug screen test results.
