Marketing Manager
Role Overview
The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing programs that support Evotec’s commercial priorities across discovery and preclinical services. The role focuses on translating Evotec’s scientific capabilities into compelling market narratives, generating qualified pipeline, and supporting Business Development in engaging target accounts.
Working closely with Business Development, Lead Generation, Operations, and subject matter experts, the Marketing Manager drives campaigns, content, and customer engagement initiatives that strengthen Evotec’s positioning across the R&D value chain.
Success in this role is measured not only by campaign execution but by tangible business outcomes - including qualified pipeline creation, improved funnel conversion, increased engagement with strategic accounts, and strengthened market visibility for Evotec’s end-to-end R&D capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Collaboration & Sales Enablement
- Partner closely with Business Development and lead acquisition to align marketing programs with commercial priorities and target accounts.
- Support funnel progression by tracking marketing leads, ensuring effective handover, and improving MQL-to-SQL conversion.
- Provide sales enablement materials including battlecards, competitive positioning insights, and tailored messaging for different customer segments.
- Coordinate with vendors and manage project timelines and budgets to ensure smooth execution of marketing initiatives.
Marketing Strategy & Campaign Execution
- Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns aligned with Evotec’s commercial priorities and growth objectives.
- Design multi-channel programs across digital and physical channels (web, SEO/SEM, email, social media, webinars, conferences, and events) to generate qualified pipeline.
- Support account-based marketing (ABM) initiatives that engage priority pharma and biotech accounts and drive progression from awareness to commercial opportunities.
Positioning & Messaging
- Translate Evotec’s scientific capabilities into clear and differentiated value propositions and market narratives.
- Contribute to category narratives that position Evotec within integrated CRO–CDMO models and partnership-based R&D collaborations.
- Develop messaging that highlights Evotec’s flexible partnership models, including standalone services, integrated programs, and portfolio-level partnerships.
