As a Paid Social Marketing Manager I, you will support the global strategy for paid social growth campaigns, executing on performance goals across various regions and lines of business. You will work directly with large-scale budgets on platforms like Meta, TikTok, and Snap, translating business goals into live campaigns. This role requires a blend of operational excellence-ensuring flawless execution of campaigns-and analytical curiosity to identify what is driving results. You will collaborate closely with Ad Tech, Product, Creative, Marketing Science teams and external partners to unlock efficiency and innovation in our marketing systems.
What you'll do
Contribute to the global strategy for paid social growth campaignsExecute and monitor paid social campaigns across major platforms (Meta, TikTok, etc.), ensuring campaigns are launched on time, within budget, and error-freeIndependently manage campaign launches, pacing, troubleshooting, and optimization across complex paid social programsImplement A/B tests and experimentation frameworks (creative, audience, bid strategies) to drive acquisition and retention KPIsMonitor performance and suggest optimizations to improve efficiency against incrementality targets.Utilize internal and external tools (e.g., Smartly, Meta Ads Manager) to scale operations.Synthesize performance insights into clear recommendations for cross-functional and senior stakeholdersStay up to date on industry trends, platform updates (e.g., iOS changes), and competitor activity to ensure Uber remains ahead of the curveUse AI-enabled tools, automation, and platform capabilities to improve campaign setup, QA, optimization, reporting, and other workflowsBasic Qualifications4+ years of experience in performance marketing, specifically with hands-on keyboard experience in paid social channels (Meta, TikTok, Snap, etc.)Strong experience in Facebook/TikTok ad manager or ad management tools (Smartly)Strong experience using Google Sheets / Excel (filters, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and Tableau to analyze data and identify patterns with confidenceUnderstanding of core performance metrics (CPA, ROAS, CPM, CTR) and basic attribution concepts.Preferred QualificationsExperience with app-based performance marketing and MMPs (e.g., Singular, Appsflyer, Branch) is highly preferredExperience with incrementality testing and lift measurement, with a clear understanding of how to evaluate media impact beyond standard platform attributionExperience using AI, automation, or advanced tooling to improve marketing workflows, campaign operations, reporting, or optimizationProven ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and maintain accountability to timelinesA desire to move quickly, experiment with new ideas, and adapt to a fast-paced environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain campaign results to cross-functional partnersGeneral curiosity about performance marketing data and how media platforms workUnderstanding of best practices for acquisition/performance media campaigns with a focus on incrementalityFor New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$132,000 per year - USD$147,000 per year.
