LEGENDS GLOBAL MERCHANDISE

Recognized leaders in retail and merchandising worldwide, Legends Global Merchandise (LGM) provides a fully customized, customer-centric, omnichannel shopping experience for fans. They provide the latest trends, styles, designs, and brand collaborations across different categories. For in-venue, e-commerce, and pop-up operations, Legends sets the standard for a unique shopping experience and creates customized inventory portfolios tailored to each client's brand.

THE ROLE
Retail employees create the ultimate game day experience for fans, prioritizing a legendary experience each time fans enter the store. The role includes exceeding expectations in customer service, displaying merchandise, and attention to detail. Candidates should have a passion for retail, an outgoing personality, enjoy selling, teamwork, and relationship-building with fans.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Provide an exciting, positive, and fun environment for the diverse team and fan base
• Greet guests and ascertain their interests to make sales recommendations
• Maintain excellent accuracy using POS systems
• Take ownership of cleaning, restocking, and other assigned tasks
• Present merchandise to increase sales with add-on items
• Describe merchandise features, benefits, and explain usage
• Keep current on store promotions, sales, and events at the speedway
• Maintain inventory, merchandise placement, and perform accurate counts; assist in inventory management
• Increase knowledge of products, facility, and all events held at IMS
• Read and implement plan-o-grams for merchandise setup
• Assist gift shop setup teams with merchandising and inventory control
• Merchandising skills are a plus

QUALIFICATIONS

• Honesty and integrity in all actions and communication
• Ability to take constructive feedback and adapt
• Excellent customer service and selling skills
• Willingness to work extended hours on event days, including weekends and overtime
• High school graduate, GED, or equivalent experience
• Accuracy in open and close store procedures
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
• Innovative self-starter capable of working independently and collaboratively
• Flexibility to perform various duties and responsibilities as needed
