As a Minneapolis Assurance Manager - Health Industries, you will play a pivotal role in providing independent and objective evaluations of financial statements and internal controls, enhancing the credibility and reliability of information for various stakeholders. Within our Assurance practice, you will focus on obtaining reasonable confidence that financial statements are free from material misstatement, whether due to fraud or error, and issue reports that reflect your findings.
As a Manager, you will lead teams and manage client accounts, focusing on strategic planning and mentoring junior staff. You are accountable for project success and maintaining standards. Enhancing your leadership style, you motivate, develop, and inspire others to deliver quality. You are responsible for coaching, leveraging team members' unique strengths, and managing performance to meet client expectations. With your growing business knowledge, you play an important role in identifying opportunities that contribute to the success of our firm. You are expected to lead with integrity and authenticity, articulating our purpose and values in a meaningful way. Responsibilities
Leading audit and assurance workstreams focused on financial statement audits within the health industries sectorEvaluating compliance with regulations and assessing governance and risk management processesManaging client relationships and expectations to deliver quality service and insightsGuiding teams in the application of auditing methodologies and financial reporting standardsUtilizing analytical skills to identify financial trends and potential risksReviewing and verifying financial documents to validate accuracy and complianceDeveloping and mentoring team members to enhance their skills and performanceImplementing data analysis and visualization techniques to improve audit processesAddressing conflicts and engaging in challenging conversations with stakeholdersUpholding professional and technical standards, including PwC's code of conduct and independence requirementsWhat You Must Have
At least a Bachelor's degreeAt least 4 years of experienceAt least one of the following: an active CPA LicenseWhat Sets You Apart
Preference for a Bachelor's degree in at least one of the following fields of study: AccountingDemonstrating proficiency in Accounting and Financial Reporting StandardsUtilizing Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Auditing Standards (GAAS)Excelling in client management and relationship buildingLeveraging data analysis and interpretation skills for financial auditsEmbracing change and innovation in auditing methodologiesMentoring and coaching team members to enhance performanceThe salary range for this position is: $99,000 - $252,450. For residents of Washington state the salary range for this position is: $99,000 - $297,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
