About the Role:
As Montageaufsicht fr Leit- und Sicherungstechnik (m/w/d) at Hitachi Rail, you will ensure the quality and timely implementation of assembly services in construction projects across Germany. The focus lies on compliance with technical specifications, railway regulations, process management, and construction progress control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and test signaling interior and exterior systems.
- Organize and execute incoming goods inspections for deliveries from factories and subcontractors.
- Manage material flow on-site, including receipt, verification, and handing over to subcontractors to ensure quality standards and deadlines.
- Control construction progress and identify deviations via target-actual comparisons.
- Maintain as-built documentation and keep the construction diary.
- Ensure availability of systems and coordinate corrections for technical and organizational defects.
- Coordinate schedules with construction supervision and DB AG, record and analyze faults, and initiate fault remediation.
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 3 years of specialized vocational training, ideally with a master or technician qualification, and experience managing construction projects.
- Preferably knowledge in railway technology, particularly signaling and safety technology.
- Strong communication skills, team orientation, broad technical understanding, diligence, and solution-oriented approach.
- Willingness to manage projects across Germany.
- Good English skills for communicating in an international environment.
- Knowledge in preparing construction notifications according to VOB/VOL and supporting construction managers.
- Familiarity with inspection and evaluation of subcontractor construction notifications.
