
Responsible for managing MRP to ensure material supply meets demand while optimizing overall material cost and inventory levels. This includes achieving competitive pricing, managing lead times, resolving quality issues, ensuring delivery performance, and maintaining healthy inventory levels (avoid shortage, excess, and obsolete).
Develop supply base and Supply Chain strategies aligned with customer and Business Unit requirements.
Support customer business needs through standard processes and customized solutions where required. Collaborate with Purchasing Manager and SCM to determine optimal approaches and influence customer supply chain strategies.
Proactively eliminate material liabilities by clearly defining ownership (supplier/customer). Track and provide data to support liability decisions and maximize negotiated supplier terms.
Analyze, maintain, and execute Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
Develop and manage stock planning strategies, including safety stock, reorder points, and buffer levels to ensure supply continuity.
Continuously monitor material pipeline to ensure alignment with MRP, demand forecast, and production requirements.
Balance inventory investment vs. service level, minimizing excess, slow-moving, and obsolete stock while avoiding shortages.
Collaborate closely with Planning and Production teams to validate demand signals and adjust supply plans accordingly.
Identify material risks (shortage, overstock) and proactively implement mitigation actions.
Ensure material availability to support production in line with Master Production Schedule (MPS) through effective planning and coordination.
Issue Purchase Orders in line with negotiated pricing, terms & conditions, and ensure supplier compliance.
Maintain integrity of master data and planning parameters (lead time, MOQ, safety stock, etc.) to optimize procurement cost and inventory levels.
Monitor and continuously improve supplier delivery and quality performance; drive corrective actions for critical issues.
Quote new and existing materials; continuously re-quote to identify cost reduction opportunities.
Make sourcing decisions based on total cost (price, freight, duty, flexibility, service, quality).
Negotiate terms and conditions to protect Jabil’s interests, including liability and stocking agreements.
Communicate expectations to suppliers and conduct audits, performance reviews, and continuous improvement activities.
Ensure execution of global purchasing agreements.
Expand sourcing options by adding preferred/strategic suppliers to AML.
Collaborate with Materials Planners to monitor supplier performance and improve supply chain efficiency.
Analyze and project MRO purchase prices for Standard Costing processes.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree (Business, Economics, Supply Chain, Engineering preferred)
2–5 years of relevant experience

Solid understanding of MRP, demand planning, and inventory control principles (safety stock, lead time, MOQ, forecasting).

Good communication skills (local language + English)
Preferable:
Experience in MRO materials
