Project Role Description : Configure, integrate and manage the life cycle of telecommunication network elements and associated configuration across Fulfillment and Assurance. Manage back office system data records. Support customer activations and configuration adjustments.
Summary:
As a Network and Services Operations Representative, you will configure, integrate, and manage the life cycle of telecommunication network elements and their associated configurations across Fulfillment and Assurance. Your typical day will involve overseeing back office system data records, supporting customer activations, and making necessary configuration adjustments to ensure seamless network operations. You will engage with various teams to ensure that all network elements function optimally and meet customer requirements, contributing to the overall efficiency and reliability of the network services provided.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME.
- Collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Facilitate training sessions for junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Monitor network performance metrics and implement improvements as necessary.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Enterprise Network Operations, Network Architecture and Design, Network Engineering Planning and Deployment Solution, Network Infrastructures.
- Design, implement, and support enterprise-level network solutions across on-prem and cloud environments.
- Configure and troubleshoot network protocols such as FTP, TFTP, NTP, SNMP, DNS, DHCP.
- Manage and support Cisco routers and Catalyst switches, including STP, Trunking, EtherChannel, and IOS configurations.
- Administer and maintain F5 Big-IP ADCs (LTM, GTM) both physical and virtual appliances.
- Configure and manage Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama (M200/M600), including PAN-OS installation and administration.
- Deep involvement in routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and MPLS environments.
- Ensure high availability using protocols like HSRP and VRRP.
- Design and manage AWS networking components including VPCs, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, PrivateLink, and Route 53.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure and scalable network architecture.
- Good Understanding of Software defined Network (LAN/WAN).
- Strong understanding of network protocols and architectures.
- Experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with cloud networking concepts and services.
- Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
Certificates: CCNA & CCNP (mandatory), PCNSA or PCNSE, AWS networking.
Additional Information:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Enterprise Network Operations.
- Position based at Bengaluru office.
- 15 years full time education required.
