We are hiring an Assistant Shop Manager (ASM) to join our team. This role offers paid training, opportunities for advancement, and a supportive work environment.
Assistant Shop Manager Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service and process payments.
- Assume Shop Manager responsibilities in their absence.
- Manage shop floor staff and operations.
- Perform opening and closing procedures.
- Assist with inventory management.
- Train new employees on company standards.
- Perform oil changes and other basic auto services as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the shop, office, and bathroom facilities.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely maneuver in and out of a shallow pit under cars.
- Capability to stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform manual activities for extended periods.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
