Purpose
This position is responsible for all aspects of store operations, which include providing an exceptional shopping experience to every customer through established company guidelines concerning sales, customer service, and associate education. Ensures the store is a safe workplace and provided a safe shopping experience, while maximizing company profitability by managing the store operations.
Major Responsibilities
- Operations management including profit and loss review, inventory control, human resources support, cash handling oversight, facility management, budgeting, brand and store presentation standards maintenance.
- Customer Service enhancement by supporting a friendly, knowledgeable environment, engaging customers, handling claims, scheduling coverage, and interfacing with corporate headquarters.
- Administrative tasks like record-keeping, shipping web orders, budget management, merchandising support, workers' compensation claims and OSHA compliance.
- Warehouse and logistics management including supervising truck appointments, storage auditing, sales reset involvement.
- Management duties involving performance review, training, supervising associates, ensuring adherence to policies and scheduling, and carrying out disciplinary actions.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements
- 3-5 years retail management experience and proven ability direct operations.
- Ability to perform in a high volume, highly complex location.
- Initiative and self-starter attitude.
- Experience in recruiting, hiring, and training associates.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Ability to handle fast-paced environments and adapt to change with urgency.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work well under pressure.
Working Conditions
- Occasional travel including air and car travel.
- Exposure to warehouse environment, moving vehicles with noise level from quiet to moderate.
Physical/Sensory Requirements
Requires exertion of 30-60 pounds occasionally, 20-30 pounds frequently, and up to 20 pounds constantly. Frequent use of hands and fingers, standing, walking, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
Store and Pickup Hours
Monday - Friday: 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM (Store), 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (Pickup)
Saturday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM (Store & Pickup)
Sunday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Store & Pickup)
