Jabil, Inc. is seeking an Operations AI/ML Sr. Assistant I to support the implementation and optimization of artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions within our manufacturing and supply chain operations. This role involves assisting in data preparation, model development, deployment, and monitoring to drive efficiency and innovation.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist in the collection, cleaning, and preprocessing of large datasets from various operational systems.
Support the development and training of AI/ML models (e.g., predictive analytics, computer vision, natural language processing) under the guidance of senior engineers and data scientists.
Contribute to the deployment of AI/ML solutions into production environments, ensuring seamless integration with existing operational workflows.
Monitor the performance of deployed models, identify potential issues, and assist in model retraining and optimization efforts.
Document model specifications, data pipelines, and operational procedures for AI/ML applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, IT, and engineering, to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
Participate in testing and validation of AI/ML solutions to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies and methodologies relevant to manufacturing operations.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
1-3 years of experience in data analysis, machine learning, or a related technical role, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used for AI/ML (e.g., Python, R).
Familiarity with machine learning libraries and frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
Basic understanding of data manipulation and analysis techniques, including SQL.
Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their AI/ML services is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
