Accountabilities
- Assign packaging operators to predetermined visual staffing plan
- Ensure adherence to standard work using various line management initiatives
- Complete required batch documentation and resolve issues
- Complete assignments requiring judgment, initiative, innovation, and leadership in troubleshooting, suggesting alternatives, and making recommendations for continuous improvement
- Implement training activities of operators for on-the-job training requirements
- Work shifts and overtime as needed
- Computer skills including Microsoft Suite and electronic document revision
- Ownership of an associated business process within area of knowledge
- Ability to lead and support formal problem solving
Essential Skills/Experience
- High School diploma, GED, or Associate Science Degree
- 3-6 years of related experience or training
- Ability to read and interpret safety procedures and manufacturing instructions
- Ability to write routine reports, correspondence, and status updates
- Ability to speak effectively before groups
- Ability to calculate figures such as proportions and percentages
- Ability to identify practical problems with limited information
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications; SAP experience preferred
