JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Penn State Mont Alto - Student Affairsis seeking apart-time staff member (20-24 hours per week)for theWiestlingStudent Center.This openingwillsupport the regular operation and maintenance of the spaces in the student center including desk coverage, greeting and interacting with the individuals in thecenter,providingaccess to entertainment opportunities,doing rounds and tracking building usage, hosting events and creating a welcoming environment for students. Staff willassistwith event promotionutilizingdry-eraseand chalk boardsand by ensuring the creation and distribution of flyers, posters, digital signage,emailsand photos on campus and via social media.Staffwill also completeclericalduties including mail retrieval,copying,and collecting various forms.Other responsibilities include assisting with studentorganizations'needs and requests.This rolewill report to theAssociateDirector of Student Affairs or theirdesignee.
Hours may be altered when students not on site. (Official campus closures, holidays, Fall/Winter/Spring break).

Compensation: The starting rate for this job is $18.00.
