Patient Support Assistant - Medical Group Otolaryngology (ENT)

Hourly Pay Range:

$18.38 - $26.65 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

• Position: Patient Support Assistant
• Location: Northbrook, IL
• Full Time/Part Time: Full Time (40 hours per week)
• Hours: Monday-Friday, rotating start times between 6:45AM-5:00PM
• Required Location: May need to travel to Skokie when needed

What you will need:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification: N/A
• Experience: One year of related experience is required; previous administrative experience working in a medical office is preferred; Insurance knowledge preferred
• Skills: Minimum typing speed of 20 words per minute required

What you will do:

• Answer phones
• Schedule appointments
• Collect co-payments
• Complete patient registration
• Provide other administrative support to the physician practice
• Check in and check out patients
• Verify insurances
