
Position Summary
The Payroll Administratoris responsible fortheaccurateandtimelyprocessing of payroll, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies. This role supports payroll operations,maintainsemployee records, and serves as a key point of contact for payroll-related inquiries.
Key Responsibilities
Processregular payroll cycles(weekly, biweekly, semi-monthly) accurately and on time
Maintainemployee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and changes
Calculate and processwages, overtime, bonuses, commissions, and deductions
Ensure proper handling oftax withholdings, garnishments, and benefits deductions
Reconcile payroll data and resolvediscrepancies or errors
Prepare and distributepay statements and reports
Supportpayroll auditsand ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Coordinate withHR and Financeon employee data, compensation changes, and reporting tools
Assistwithquarter- end andyear-end processes, including W-2s and other tax filings
Respond to employee inquiriesregardingpay, taxes, and deductions
Qualifications
Associatesdegree inAccounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
2–5+ years ofpayroll processing experience
Knowledge ofpayroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements
Experience with payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, Paychex, SAP)
Strong attention to detail andaccuracy
High levelofproficiencyinExcel and payroll reporting tools
Strong organizational andproblem-solving skills
Ability to handleconfidential informationwith discretion
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree inAccounting, Finance, Business Administration
Fundamental PayrollCertified(FPC )or CertifiedPayroll Professional (CPP)designation
Experience withmulti-state or global payroll
Familiarity withHRIS systemsand integrations
