People Operations Associate

About the Role

Were looking for a People Operations Associate to help create an exceptional employee experience for our global remote workforce. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their HR or People Operations career, who is eager to learn, grow, and gain hands-on exposure across a variety of people programs.

In this role, youll support key employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, employee data management, internal documentation, employee engagement initiatives, and day-to-day People Operations support. Youll play an important role in making sure employees have a smooth, consistent, and supportive experience throughout their time at Pearl.

Because this role sits within our Employee Experience and Enablement team, were looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, creating community, and bringing people together across teams, locations, and time zones. The right person is highly organized, proactive, service-oriented, and excited to help build programs and processes that make work easier and more meaningful for employees.

Youll also receive training and hands-on experience using AI tools and building AI-powered workflows that improve employee support, streamline processes, and enhance operational efficiency.

Location: Fully remote from these states: California, Idaho, Illinois, Oregon, Texas, Washington, and Wisconsin.

What You'll Do

• Support onboarding and offboarding processes and employee lifecycle activities.
• Maintain employee records and HR systems, including data accuracy and reporting.
• Assist with employee engagement programs, surveys, and feedback initiatives.
• Help create moments of connection for employees across a global, remote workforce.
• Create and update internal documentation, guides, and knowledge resources.
• Collaborate with the global People team to support daily operations and employee requests.
• Build strong working relationships with employees, managers, and cross-functional partners.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and employee experiences.
• Learn, build, test, and maintain AI-powered workflows and support solutions.
• Support compliance with company policies and employment practices.

What We're Looking For

• 0-2 years of experience in HR, People Operations, recruiting coordination, operations, customer support, administration, community-building, employee engagement or a related field.
• Strong interest in building a career in Human Resources or People Operations or Employee Experience.
• Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail.
• A relationship-first mindset with a genuine interest in supporting employees and building community.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across teams and time zones.
• Comfort working in a remote environment and helping create connection across distributed teams.
• Enthusiasm for learning new technologies, including AI tools and automation.
• Experience with HR systems is a plus; familiarity with HiBob, Lattice, or similar platforms is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
