Trainer
In this strategic leadership role, the Performance Manager designs, delivers, and evaluates training programs to develop employee skills and improve performance aligned with organizational goals. The role supports employee development, engagement, and aligns learning opportunities with career and company needs.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Training Program Design & Development: Design/develop effective, customized training programs and continuously update materials.
- Training Delivery: Conduct engaging in-person and virtual training sessions using diverse instructional techniques.
- Assessing & Monitoring Progress: Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and tracking.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work with stakeholders, cultivate relationships with vendors and experts, act as point of contact for training queries, and ensure training material relevancy.
- Reporting & Administration: Maintain accurate training records, prepare outcome reports, and stay updated on training trends.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify skill gaps, research enhancement methods, and encourage a culture of continuous learning.
- Learning Technology Management: Support implementation and use of learning management systems and platforms.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business, or related field; Master's preferred.
- 2-5 years proven experience as a corporate trainer, instructor, or facilitator.
- Preferred experience in industry-specific training.
- Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS) and training software.
- Strong presentation, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate diverse learners.
