Pay Details: $43,900 - $58,600 CAD annually
TD Canada Trust is the frontline of TD Bank, dedicated to building deep and long-lasting relationships with customers by providing a broad range of customer service transactions, information, and advice on products and solutions. The Personal Banking Associate plays a key role in guiding customers to appropriate banking solutions and staff members to resolve financial queries including new accounts and investment advice.
Responsibilities:
- Engage customers with advice, service transactions, digital education, and problem resolution regarding banking solutions.
- Understand customer needs and guide them to the correct internal contacts.
- Educate customers on emerging digital banking trends such as mobile, ATM, and online banking.
- Support frontline staff with cash and non-cash transactions and escalate issues as necessary.
- Recommend process and operational improvements to enhance customer experience and efficiency.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of business processes and compliance with regulations and TD's Code of Conduct.
- Promote a positive, equitable work environment through team effectiveness and knowledge sharing.
Requirements:
- High school diploma and/or 1+ years of relevant experience.
- Investment Funds Canada (IFC) certification or equivalent within 6 months of appointment.
- Post-secondary or undergraduate degree in a related field preferred.
- Proficiency with MS Office, branch software, and internet.
- Knowledge of banking solutions and ability to advise customers.
- Strong organizational, planning and time management skills, able to work independently.
- Effective communication skills with customers and internal teams.
